“I wanted to share how wonderful TLC has been for our family, especially our son Kevin. We had interviewed a couple of other agencies, but after meeting with Julie, we knew immediately that TLC was the right fit.
Kevin has been with TLC for almost eight years. When he entered the program and left home at 21, we honestly wondered whether he would make it on his own or eventually need to move back home. TLC has been like a miracle. Through setting goals and providing the support he needs, Kevin has grown and matured to the point where I no longer worry about whether he will make it.
TLC has provided wonderful live-in support staff, and Britni has been a godsend—always available to help Kevin and me through the occasional crisis or navigate his needs. On more than one occasion, Kevin has even called Julie or Bernie to pick him up when his e-bike broke down. Everyone treats him like family, and that warms my heart.
We couldn’t ask for or trust a better organization to help us support our son. Knowing Kevin has so much support and a safe environment has not only improved our relationship with him, but has also given us peace as we get older.”
